Cook Island Maori Day

Today is the Cook Island Maori language day and the whole school went down to the hall to celebrate.
Firts we were singing  a Cook Island song. We went into 4 activity we made flowers with paper to make a Tivaevae. We folded the paper into 4 and then cut the paper into a flower.
Then we went to the drumming room and we          sat down. We were drumming altogether and          we were drumming with the chop sticks. We          were like crazy.
Next we went to Julies group and we were              learning how to say the words in Cook Island        Maori.
I was excited. I think we could celebrate it              next year.
